Am I just breakng out from irritation? I definitely made a mistake of introductijg topicals, and those hero products all within the span of a week. I use hero pimple patches regularly and those help. I’m going to be cutting out everything, including topicals, during this weeek and then just focus on my retinol for the next month and a half. I bought the cerave retinol (the one that targets acne, not fine lines) and I’m going to start using it in a week. I tried la roche posay’s adapalene for awhile and it broke me out terribly, to a point beyond purging. Benzyl peroxide works good on non-cystic acne for me. I’ve tried many different SA products in the past and they’ve all given me breakouts that are not purging, so that ingredient just doesnt work for me. I made quite a mistake of trying to overcompensate and I used the hero lightning wand as well as the pimple corrector, so I think i have a bit of irritation which is why I’ve cut out exfoliating for now. My routine: CeraVe cleansing balm CeraVe hydrating facial cleanser (not the foaming one) Snail mucin COSRX Moisturizer that i don’t know of, it’s my sisters, but it works better than anything else I’ve tried and is pretty thick.Įvery 3 nights I use the topicals dark spot fading serum. A mix of papules that come up to a whitehead and small cysts, as well as a lot of texture around that area that I’ve never had to deal w before. Ive extensively researched skincare and continue to do so, but I have pretty bad acne in my lower right cheek. ![]()
